I’m Lydia Michelle Jones, and I’m a Senior for Class of 2013.

I’m 17 years old. (Birthday: March 16) 

Epilepsy: Partial Complex Seizures (since Nov. 2009)

Elementary: I was born in Greenview, IL just an hour away from the capital. I moved to Orlando, FL when I was around 5 yrs. and attend one of top elementary school’s at the time. Over each summer I attend local music camps to help me musically, and stage wise. By 5th grade I had performed at Disney: EPCOT (once) and Downtown Disney (twice).  

Middle School: I transferred over to a Performing Arts Middle School. Located in Gotha, FL where I trained to be a violinist for over two years. I had the privilege to be first chair those two years. During my 7th grade year my youth group, reconnect me with Jesus Christ after being bullied severely. By my 8th grade year I then again transferred to another Performing Art School, but this time for vocal. Located in Apopka, FL. I was the youngest to compete in MPA’s that year and have a solo that following late spring. 

High School: I now attend the Perfoming Arts Academy at Apopka High School. I was diagnosed with Epilepsy my Freshmen year, but nothing stop me from achieving my dreams. I became part of FCA over 3 years ago and I’v been a section leader for Chorus for now over 2 yrs and a newly elected Editor for Key Club. I became an amazing Teacher Aid at a day camp located at the church I grew up in to kids ranging from K-5. They tend to attack me with hugs or high fives :)

College: I applied to several, I now wait for the dread no or the exiting yes of the top three I’ve applied to these past months.
